1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Harbor Country Plumbing website (the "Website") and engaging our plumbing services (the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website or engage our Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Harbor Country Plumbing ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").
2. Services Provided
Harbor Country Plumbing provides residential plumbing services throughout Harbor Country and Southwest Michigan. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Bathroom and kitchen remodel plumbing (rough-in and finish work)
- Plumbing leak diagnosis and repair (pipes, fittings, valves)
- Gas leak detection and repair
- Water heater installation, replacement, and repair (tank and tankless)
- Sump pump and ejector pump replacement
- Water softener repair and maintenance
- Fixture and faucet repair and replacement (toilets, sinks, showers)
- Water line repair and replacement
Services Not Offered: Harbor Country Plumbing does not provide drain rodding/snaking or sewer jetting/hydro-jetting services. Customers requiring these services should contact a specialist provider.
We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue any services at any time without prior notice. The availability of specific services may vary by location and scheduling capacity.
3. Service Area
Harbor Country Plumbing primarily serves communities throughout Southwest Michigan, including but not limited to New Buffalo, Union Pier, Lakeside, Harbert, Grand Beach, Sawyer, Three Oaks, Bridgman, Michiana, Niles, Benton Harbor, St. Joseph, and surrounding areas. Service availability outside our primary service area is subject to our discretion, scheduling availability, and may incur additional travel charges. Contact us to confirm service availability in your specific location.
4. Estimates and Pricing
Harbor Country Plumbing is committed to transparent, upfront pricing. The following terms apply to estimates and pricing:
- Estimates: All estimates provided are based on our assessment of the work required at the time of inspection. Estimates are not binding and may change if additional issues are discovered during the course of work.
- Scope Changes: If additional work is identified beyond the original estimate, we will inform you of the additional costs and obtain your approval before proceeding. No additional work will be performed without your express authorization.
- Emergency Services: Emergency and after-hours service calls may be subject to additional fees. Emergency pricing will be communicated before service begins.
- Payment: Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards.
- Late Payment: Invoices not paid within thirty (30) days of the service date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, or the maximum rate permitted by applicable law, whichever is lower.
5. Scheduling and Cancellation
The following policies apply to scheduled service appointments:
- Scheduling: Service appointments are scheduled based on availability. We make every effort to accommodate your preferred date and time but cannot guarantee specific appointment slots.
- Arrival Windows: We provide estimated arrival windows for scheduled appointments. While we strive to arrive within the scheduled window, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as emergency calls, traffic, or extended service times at prior appointments.
- Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' advance notice. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.
- Access: You are responsible for ensuring that our technician has reasonable access to the work area. If we are unable to access the property or work area at the scheduled time, a trip charge may apply.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
Harbor Country Plumbing stands behind the quality of our work:
- Workmanship: We warrant that all plumbing work performed will be completed in a professional and workmanlike manner, in accordance with applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Materials: Parts and materials installed by Harbor Country Plumbing are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We do not provide additional warranties beyond the manufacturer's warranty on parts and materials.
- Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, acts of nature, or normal wear and tear. Warranties are void if the work area is modified or repaired by another party without our written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Harbor Country Plumbing's total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- In no event shall Harbor Country Plumbing be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
- We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, supply chain disruptions, or labor disputes.
- Pre-existing conditions in your plumbing system that are not related to our work are not the responsibility of Harbor Country Plumbing.
8. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer of Harbor Country Plumbing, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your plumbing needs and the condition of your plumbing system.
- Ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area, including clearing obstructions and securing pets.
- Inform us of any known hazards, including but not limited to asbestos, lead paint, mold, or structural concerns.
- Obtain any necessary permits or homeowner association approvals required for the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Make timely payment for services rendered in accordance with these Terms.
- Notify us promptly of any concerns or issues with completed work.
9. Website Use
The following terms apply to your use of the Harbor Country Plumbing website:
- Content: All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Harbor Country Plumbing and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our written permission.

- Limitation Period: Any claim arising from our services must be brought within one (1) year of the date the service was performed.

Harbor Country Plumbing reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on our website. Your continued use of our website or engagement of our services after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. 13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
